Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction

Our most popular fundraising effort is our Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction. This event is held in March each year. Each ticket comes with a homemade four course meal, live entertainment, a bidder number, and a chance at our door prize. During the dinner, each attendee has the option to purchase chances for our multiple Chinese Auction items and side raffles. Your bidder number can be used to bid on our live and silent auction items. It is a fun filled evening with live music from The Leatherwood Church Band. 

Funds raised from the benefit dinner are used to help in the expansion of Leatherwood Academy. Currently, our third floor is being renovated to add a STEM lab, computer lab, and to complete our elementary classrooms. It will also have a teacher preparation room and storage space for all of the seasonal and educational supplies that make learning fun. 

Raffles

Summer Fun Raffle

Our Summer Fun Raffle will begin in April of each year. This raffle includes fun summertime activities for your family along with several gift cards for dining out. 

Back To School Raffle

Our Back To School Raffle will begin at the end of July each year. This raffle will consist of various gift certificates and gift cards for clothing and school supplies. 

Black Friday Raffle

Our Black Friday Raffle will begin at the beginning of November each year. This raffle will consist of various gift certificates and gift cards for gas, food, and holiday shopping. 

Food Booth

Leatherwood Academy has been given the opportunity to run the food booth at the Clarion County Fair! This food booth has a long history of supporting local churches and other nonprofit organizations. We are partnering with Distant Area Volunteer Fire Department to bring back a good and affordable homecooked meal option for you and your family while you enjoy the Clarion County Fair. Our first year was a huge success and we would like to thank everyone that helped make this adventure a success!

Individual Family Fundraising

Leatherwood Academy offers families the chance to participate in fundraising each school year. This fundraising is used to help cover the cost of your Childs tuition. Individual fundraising is optional.
