Nutrition (Snacks & Lunch)
Food Allergies
Parents should notify the school in writing if their child has a food allergy and what the appropriate food substitutions are. The school will then make appropriate substitutions. This should be updated regularly for the safety of the child and their health.
Food Coloring and Sugar
In order to accommodate and maintain consistency for several children, the school will not be serving items that contain artificial food colorings or exorbitant amounts of sugar.
Snacks
Each classroom requests, collects, and serves snacks every day. Please consider all known allergies and the school’s concern for food colorings and sugar when making your selections.
Lunch
A hot meal is served to the primary students on Monday and Wednesday. We have a menu of 18 meals, which will be rotated through each month. The meals are free. We only ask in return, that each family make a donation to contribute to the food supplies. A list of supplies can be found in the lobby. A text thread will be sent out to parents each week, making them aware of the cafeteria needs for the following week. You may also contact the director or Miss. Nichole to inquire about cafeteria needs at any time.
Birthdays and Special Occasions
Treats are permitted on birthdays and special occasions. Please contact your individual teacher for their guidelines.
